History & Overview of Georgia Tech-Savannah

The Georgia Tech-Savannah campus launched in 1999 as an initiative of the Georgia Institute of Technology. For over a decade, the satellite campus has offered a wide range of professional education opportunities to adult learners in southeastern, Georgia. Additionally, Georgia Tech-Savannah works with numerous local, state, and Georgia Tech partners to support economic and workforce development in the region. The campus has partnerships with the Georgia Center of Innovation for Logistics, the Advanced Technology Development Center, the Georgia Manufacturing Extension Partnership, the Enterprise Innovation Institute, and the Georgia Tech Procurement Assistance Center.

• Programs – Georgia Tech-Savannah provides training for today’s workplace leaders to develop outstanding leadership skills, foster visionaries, and tool area executives with actionable goals that will directly improve their performance as employees and their greater vision for their employers. Leadership programming includes their Professional Leadership Certificate, Leading Well Workshops, and the Learners and Leaders Breakfast Series.
• Meeting Space – The Savannah campus has facilities for small meetings to large conferences. From one-day events to multi-day conferences, the campus has two buildings that offer various classrooms, labs, and open spaces.
• Courses –  Georgia Tech-Savannah’s adult educational offerings build and train the workforce here in Savannah. These include professional coding boot camps, OSHA training, project management certification, and practical and immediate applicable training in various supply chain and logistics functions.
