For the last 44 years, the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce has existed to ensure the businesses of Liberty County have the resources and support they need. It is a Georgia Certified Chamber of Commerce, and is committed to the local and small businesses that make the county thrive.
History & Overview of the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce
Since 1976, the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce has existed to serve the businesses of Liberty County. Over its years of service, it has grown to include hundreds of members. In 2019 it was one of ten Chambers in the state to be awarded the Georgia Certified Chamber designation, recognized for its strong leadership and expertise in business.
With over 450 members working together, the Chamber helps create a positive and healthy economic climate and better way of life for all Liberty residents.
Liberty County Chamber of Commerce Services & Offerings
Networking – Chamber members are leaders in their industries and help Liberty’s local businesses thrive. The Chamber hosts a variety of events for members to network and develop business contacts and potential customers.
Exposure – The Chamber offers marketing opportunities for members at little to no cost through community newsletters, business spotlights, directory listings, and more. It works to act as a second storefront for its members, increasing exposure and awareness throughout the county and beyond.
Publications – One of the many ways the Chamber offers increased exposure to its members is through its Liberty County magazine distributed throughout the county. Also available with every membership is a member directory, with free listings to all Chamber members. Members also receive The Liberty Pulse every Friday with updates around Liberty County.
Referrals – Through its referral program, the Chamber connects those looking for services and helps generate new business for its members. Members also have access to the Welcome Center, where they can display pamphlets, brochures, and other literature about their business.
Free Business Counseling & Workshops – The Chamber sponsors an array of free or low-cost workshops and seminars for its members throughout the year. It also offers bi-weekly counseling for those looking to get their business up and running.
Member Discounts – Members of the Chamber enjoy specific, exclusive, and substantial savings at businesses throughout Liberty County.
Health Insurance – Through the Health Business Alliance program, the Chamber can use the power of collective bargaining to negotiate better rates and advantages on insurance and business solutions. It often receives discounted prices on exclusive benefits from some of the most recognized providers.
Community Involvement – Membership with the Chamber allows you to be a part of different occasions like the STAR Student Banquet, Blues, Brews & BBQ, and the Annual Illuminated Christmas Parade. By being a member, you demonstrate a love for our community and a commitment to making it better.
